About Me

Introduction

Hello there!

I am Shaun Bechard, a 2020 graduate of The Florida State University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (BSc Chemistry) with an attached minor in Mathematics. I have a passion for researching a variety of topics within a wide range of subjects while expanding my overall knowledge. I am especially interested in thinking about large-scale problems that affect humans. I enjoy using my knowledge both generally and scientifically to create scenarios for potential solutions to these problems.

Current Goals and Interests

My major goal currently is focused on finding suitable work in my field of study or related fields. I am always interested in expanding my knowledge, skills and work ethic in all areas of life both personally and professionally. I am actively looking for positions that utilize the skills and knowledge I obtained from my studies in Chemistry and other science topics. My most recent work towards this personal development has focused on self-directed studying of topics in multiple disciplines of science. This includes material in Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Immunology, Hematology and Immunohematology, Data Science and others. Currently, I am also learning Python programming language for applications within and outside of the science industry. With the emergence of AI technology, I am also developing skills in prompt writing to obtain meaningful and ethical solutions to a variety of issues that could be faced in the coming future across industries. I am always exploring other options for academic and professional improvement.

I am an avid researcher. There is no question I may ask myself that I will not research the answer to. If there is something I do not know or understand, I look it up. There is no job or task that I find "unlearnable". Anything I do not know how to do; I teach myself through focused and determined research.

Some long-term personal goals include attempting to discover the full nature of the photon utilizing known values of principle constants, models of the hydrogen and helium atoms, their corresponding ionization energies, and with the support of topics from known and emerging science in quantum chemistry and physics. I also hope to one day obtain an advanced degree (preferably doctorate) and work to become a master in my field. My current favorite theory in particle physics, which I personally believe could be the key to discovering answers to many fundamental questions, is Quantum Electrodynamics (QED).

My hope is that by reading this, you may understand my dedication to knowledge and exceptionalism. Wherever I work, no matter the field or application, I always bring a dedication to learning and providing exceptional work ethic.
